Wilsonville Old Town Square
Project Details
This site is located on a 17-acre historic orchard directly adjacent to the Old Town Historic District and Wilsonville's growing urban center. Unique site attributes include a mature black locust grove, a historic church, and numerous large fir, cedar and Ponderosa pine trees. The goal of the adjacent community, the City of Wilsonville, and the developer was to create a design that recognized the unique historic character of the site, preserved natural features, and developed a sense of community. As part of the design process, we participated in an extensive series of community workshops, Design Review Board presentations, and City Council meetings.
In addition to A/E services for anchor tenant Fred Meyer Stores, Group Mackenzie provided design and engineering for eight retail pad buildings ranging from 6,500 SF to 10,230 SF each.
